A bit about the artist... Sophie Welch is a self taught artist from South Wales, UK. Heavily influenced by her love of animals and the planet, she creates beautiful drawings and paintings of wildlife using a variety of different mediums and also welcomes pet portrait commissions. She has spent a lot of time researching and sourcing eco and vegan friendly materials where possible, to ensure her practices have a minimal negative impact on the planet and its many inhabitants. Her work is highly detailed and aims to capture the innocence and beauty of her subjects, to attract the viewer in and evoke a deep feeling of connection and empathy.
